A Health Qigong class was held on Barra da Tijuca beach, Rio de Janeiro, from 9am to 11am on March 11th, 2017. Renato Frade, a Health Qigong coach in Rio de Janeiro Wushu Federation, a branch of Brazilian Wushu Confederation, taught in the Qigong class. More than 100 people attended. The name of this project is "Salud en la Plaza", which has been organized for three consecutive years by drugstores "Venâncio", a network of pharmacies in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The drugstore maintains a governmental social project of 7 squares totaling more than 1000 people attended.
Brazilian Wushu Confederation started Health Qigong promotion from 2014. IHQF has sent Health Qigong coaches to Brazilian Wushu Confederation for 3 years and this confederation organized the 2nd Health Qigong Training Seminar for South American Coaches. Brazilian Wushu Confederation has made great contributions to the promotion in Brazil and South American countries.
