The 8th World Health Qigong Tournament & Exchange and the 4th World Health Qigong Scientific Symposium were successfully held in Melbourne, Australia from August 7th to 12th. The events included the IHQF Executive Board meeting, the Health Qigong International Referee Grade and Skills Training Courses, the Routines Improvement Class, the Duan Examination, the Scientific Symposium, and the Competition.
Since the establishment of IHQF in September 2012, there are currently 102 member organizations covering 51 countries and regions on five continents. More than 350 Health Qigong enthusiasts from 21 countries and regions including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea and Australia, etc., participated in the Events.

The biennial World Health Qigong Tournament & Exchange is a grand event for Qigong lovers around the world. After more than ten years of development, the Event has developed into a comprehensive brand event. The main feature of the event is to show the health promotion, cultural tolerance and extensive participation of Health Qigong. With the competition as the medium, the event builds a platform to promote the exchange of traditional sports culture and enhance the friendship of the world people. At the 5th session of the 2nd IHQF Executive Board held at this event, the 9th World Health Qigong Tournament & Exchange and the 5th World Health Qigong Scientific will be held in Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan in 2021.
